Copthorne King's Hotel Singapore on Havelock

The arrivals desk was very accommodating and friendly and were able to book in a bit earlier. Great variety for breakfast, cereals, toast,fruit and full cooked breakfast. Fruit juices and tea and coffee. Incredible table service (clearance) by lovely friendly ladies. All the staff were throughout the hotel were most helpful and friendly. Our room was serviced excellently by lovely lady every day.

We stayed a week here. Room was good. Had a small balcony but no room for a chair. Pool, sauna and steam room were great. Sunlounges and day beds to enjoy. Breakfast was included and was buffet. A lot of variety but often a bit cold. The eggs were cooked up in front of you and were hot and delicious. Western and Asian food. All the table waiters were friendly. Lunch and Dinner were available there but we didnt eat there. $$ Location close to Singapore River and Riverside restuarants. 7/11 nearby. 7 min walk to Havelock MRT, if you continue past it, there is a hawker centre about 5 mins further on. Zion Road. The Fried Kway Teow is very popular with the locals and the tourists. Cost about $5 AUD and delicious. Plenty of other options. Fresh Sugar cane juice. Fruit/ veg juices, soups etc. Also a few chinese resturants around on the footpath down another road.

very helpful staff, good facilities and good air con!! you will probably need it!;). would recommend, very near metro station as well.

I loved the room - its size and configuration, and its design / decor gives an old-world eastern charm fused with modern conveniences. The hotel, though quite old, exudes a welcoming coziness. I felt right at home. This hotel could be my new favourite in Singapore. And it smells very nice, too.

Location is good, close to the River and Chinatown. When the new MRT opens the location would be superb. Now the taxis are the only option to travel. Hotel is old and it shows, but it's still comfortable and offers good service and facilities. The pool area is good, plenty of room, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi, plus nice green area (artificial grass) attached. The pool itself was big enough and sparkling clean. Very nice.
